Guru Guru 1973-11-24 Cologne, TRAP 03V2 - major upgrade from master tape This is an improvement over my first version of this recording, which is no more on the tracker. It was up for 737 days and snatched 302 times! The upgrade was done by a new transfer and has now a very consistent volume and quality - details below! For the infos thanks to propylaen and zubbid, contributed in the comment section of the former upload. Line-Up: Hans Hartmann - bass Mani Neumeier - drums Axel Genrich - guitar This is a mono recording and the levels are varying, but not by far not so much on the left channel. During the first transfer I fumbled around with the levels of the two channels. This time I focussed on the left channel which is very consistent apart from two small parts where the right channel is in fact a bit stronger. I took the left channel besides one small section, made it stereo again (fur burning purposes), and got a fine broadcast document with consistent volume and less hiss than before, especially in some parts. I have tracked tracks 5 to 6 this time acoording to the info by propylaen). It could also be handled as one track. No EQ, no noise reduction and no speed correction. It could get some equalising, but I'm not firm with that, and cranking the treble up while playing it brings pleasure enough, imho. I have had the experience of FAKE STEREO of this - right channel with a small delay. That was quite good to listen to! But I cannot account for uploading a FAKE, can I? No artwork. This time the setlist is, according to propylaen's comments, filled up a bit! transfer, treatment and upload on Dime by trapper in Oct 2009 Enjoy
