John Watts (Fischer-Z) Germany 1981-xx-xx FM, broadcast by WDR 1981-10-24 - TRAP 21, with sample Going through my tapes I discovered this small snippet quite unexpectedly: John Watts (post Fischer-Z) 1981-xx-xx, Germany (TRAP 21) Broadcast by WDR, 24 Oct 1981. Type: FM mono My recording has only the end of the concert, 17:52 min - 4 songs and a short band intro. It's a bit hissy and in mono. That's just how I could receive this radio station in those days. There may have been an encore, at least 5 minutes more broadcast (@ the beginning of Marliese: "...still 13 minutes to go..."), but my recording (not the tape) ended quite abruptedly whit the call of John Watts "thanks very much, good night". Lineage: master tape (BASF chromdioxid super II C90) > NAD Deck 602 (azimuth adjustment) > Realtek HD audio > Audacity 1.3.4 Beta (stereo, 32 bit, 44100 Hz) > wav > Flac 8 (tlh) I left the recording unaltered besides tracking and a slight volume boosting to get the maximum (-0.3 dB). tracks: 1. Pretty Paracetamol 2. band intro 3. Speaking A Different Language 4. Marliese 5. Battalions Of Strangers John Watts (with his band): John Watts - g, voc David Purdye - bass Derek Ballard - dr Richie Wilson - keyboards The last member (spelling ok?) of the band doesn't appear on the credits for John Watts first two solo albums. So he was just engaged for the live appearances to replace John Watts on the synthies. http://www.johnwatts.co.uk/?c=home http://www.wattsgoingon.de/ http://www.discogs.com/John-Watts-One-More-Twist/release/460385 transferred and uploaded on dime in may 2009 by trapper If anyone has better ore more complete recording of the show, please share it!
